So I reinstalled Thief 2 with Tafferpatcher and then proceeded to install EP2 and Necro age. But when I try to play a cutscene it just kinda skips forward, with a black screen for some miliseconds and then I land in the mission start menu. I also tried admin settings but it didn´t change anything. Yesterday the cutscenes could be played without problems. The problem is probably easy to solve for a veteran taffer but I seem to be missing something! Help is welcome:D

I've seen this and it just comes and goes for me unfortunately - I think the video codec just randomly fails to load on launch. Whenever I start T2, I click the Credits movie immediately to make sure movies are playing before I begin, and restart if it fails to play. Usually if they work then it's good for that session. I've done lots of testing too and it will just work sometimes and not work other times on multiple successive launches of the game. The only thing I've found on my machine that seems to drastically improve the chances of movies working is shutting down Chrome, but I don't know of anyone else who's had a similar situation so YMMV.

I restarted my PC and now the cutscenes work. Weird stuff.

Yep, I forgot to mention that will sometimes do it too.

NewDark TG and TMA videos work this way for me as well. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. I'm pretty sure I've implemented every fix ever described in this forum.
I do exactly as Yandros and click credits whenever I start up TG or TMA. If they work there, they work fine for the whole play session. If they don't work, I reboot and reload until they work again. Thankfully, more often than not, they do work, and one or at most two reboots seem to set them working again if they didn't work.
At one point I tried isolating the different variables that correlated with the movies not loading, but I gave up when I couldn't find anything that correlated 100% of the time.
