Right, the problem is, not by people like me who work at a hospital..
I figure -- I got too much other shit going on to be worried about what is going on in the world. I try to stay sane, and when I have a couple spare minutes, I would MUCH rather spend it relaxing playing a video game or listening to some music, than reading world news...
There's nothing I can do to change the world anyway, so will I really care 50 years from now what happened to (insert interesting news item) today? Nope........
Hate to burst your little bubble but we may not have 50 years left if everyone is like you and doesn't care. But far be it for me to dissuade you just stick your head in the sand and pretend there is nothing we can do.

Sort of an important problem that needs to be addressed.

Sir, I have read your essay concerning the chaps currency proposal (which are always crafted without a bottom, or seat, for those brave cowboys of tomorrow); the archdiocese prevents me from commenting, other than to say: godspeed.

Gas is a $1.53 here. Also birds have started flying upside down and the economy. I think we're screwed.
But don't worry, I've been reading articles about it.

Speaking of birds, anyone ever see Hitchcock's "The Birds" ? That was a good movie.. I kinda hope the world ends by birds. Yeah.

Me too. Edible ones. The end of the world would last about 10 minutes on the opening day of dove season.
