I recently resumed playing Morrowind after having decided there was little left to accomplish. Upon checking a few things I realized I'd over-looked much of the Raven Rock quests and once I completed a number of these I met a High Elf in a bar asking questions about Snow Elves.
Awhile back I had discovered a tomb containing a spear, belonging to a Snow Prince and some ancient armor in the same vicinity. My question is: Does the Snow prince have anything to do withthe Snow Elves and which "burrow/tomb" was he buried in? I cannot recall for the life of me.
On another note, it's been so long since I've played I have forgotten much of what I have done... There is a quest concerning the ebony mine in Raven Rock and a burial chamber found within its tunnels. Apparently they can't break through without the appropriate tool which I am supposed to acquire from an outcast Nord living north of the settlement. I found the Nord, yet they all seem dismissive... I'm just wondering if this is normal or did I err earlier on in the game (as I have done man times not sticking to quests) and screw myself?

This is my 5th time explaining this. To the east of the house before the river there is a woman called Coventina Celata which in theory(but doesn't) should attack the nords, so you go kill her(won't get reported) then talk to the nords again.
You need to grab a book from the snow prince's barrow which is Jolgeirr barrow, which is a stone's throw north east of the chamber of hidden music. If you have no idea where this is then travel east of Thormoor's watch(on east coast), over the river then half way between the next river(Harstrad river) and the first there is a mount with a tall rock on top; Jolgeirr barrow is on that mount.
