I had fun with this one. It had some really nice touches and quite a few chuckles.
The burrick was cute... :-) And the peice of jewelry that triggered the alarm was sneaky .. but at the same time very beleivable!!!
That being said, did anyone else feel that the fourth wall was broken a bit too often?
I think having the whole apartment right there in plain view was what took the "wink-wink" factor over the top. It would have been different if it was an easter-egg that required some trick or extensive searching to find. But it was like right there so you couldn't miss it.

I noticed you like nice things. Isn't it wonderfull what nice things can be done with Thief. I personally like these kind of missions much more than the dark haunted ones. Apart from that, you managed to get in my top 2 of mission builders. I love the humour and nice objects and scripting.
I know how difficult that all is. I tried to make 1 mission myself, but that was just a try-out of dromed and uploaded it for the other players to have fun with. Someone found it neccesary to torpedo that one in the comment on TTC (Thief The Circle), but that must have been a haunt lover I guess.
Anyway, as far as I am concerned; you and Christine are my top 2 mission builders. The innovative approach and nice objects are what does it for me. And the humour... that guy that came home drunk and got it from his wife...
I am very happy to find a lot of positive comments here about your mission and I agree with them.
Thanks again and I also look forward to part 3.

Nice mission, but I'm having a bit of a problem. I might be stuck.
I took Periko's resume and switched it with the letter from Lord G. I didn't think to burn that letter immediately, and I returned to Periko's as instructed. I got there and I heard the sound of a secret door sliding open, but here's the problem: nothing changed in his house, particularly the wooden door right next to him! I went off and burned the letter and did the judge stuff, and then I went back to Periko's (two guards outside this time) and now I'm in trouble, because no secret door is opening. I can stand in front of that wooden door and click in the middle, and I hear the secret door sliding open behind it, but the wooden door is still blocking MY way. I say MY way, because I drew my sword to hack at it, and Periko got all scared and ran THROUGH the wooden door to a part of the map that I can't get to.
I think I'm stuck. Thoughts?

Periko isn't at home until you switch fire on, in the fireplace. You should reload saved level, before.
BTW. Periko is frendly guy don't threat him.
Hmmmm. But the problem is that the
secret door in Periko's house won't open. Or at least the wooden door in front of the secret door. Whatever that door is beside him just isn't opening.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the fireplace switch. I think I hit the fireplace switch soon after arriving in the hotel, before I even got the manager's key. And then I got the key, switched the letters, and then went back to Periko's place, not thinking then to burn Lord G's letter. I'm almost certain I heard the sound of a secret door opening when I retuned then to Periko's, and he was there, but no door opened. Then I remembered the fireplace and burned the letter. Still, the secret door won't open.
Thoughts? I'm pretty sure I'll have to start over, but just wanted to point this out.

Hi Long Finger,
This was a great compliment, thank you. I also like Christine's work very much. BTW, I was playing your FM and I really like it!;) Don't be discourage to continue creating your own "world" in your FM. All creative people are usually very sensibile for their work but even the greatest FM is not in able to please all the tastes of players. I know how you feel about that but almost all people from this forum are very kind and make positive critics. When they criticize that doesn't mean that they don't like your FM. Good critics is a kind of inspiration for all author's to improve their knowlege and skills.
Greetings,

Allow me to gush a little here. Naks, I am really LOVING your Snobs-2! I mean really! Snobs-1 was fun & interesting but you just blew yourself outta the water with this installment! The textures are greatly improved and very easy on the eye. And the music! My God - the music! I must have sat there staring blankly at the screen for about 5 minutes before I even started the game and find myself doing the same after saving or loading, just listening to the music. (Yes, even my cats think I've lost it!) I absolutely love all the custom touches you applied in this FM (the Macarena dance was fun & it's very impressive the way you got the characters to actually look like they were doing that dance)! This is one FM I most definitely am not trying to blast my way through. Can't wait for part 3! Thanks Naks! And keep up the good work.
P.S. What is the music playing during the save/load screens? I know you list all the music in the FM description, but am woefully ignorant about which piece plays when. Keep it up & you'll have to do an FM soundtrack because of popular request!
Tx again! :cheeky:

Wonderfully funny, clever fm. :thumb:
I have finished woefully short on loot: 6900 out of 8375. I wasn't paying any attention to the cost of hots dogs, ice cream, etc. Just how much DID my snacking cost me? ;)
