I still have all my old original Thief cd's and packaging, including the trapezoid cardboard boxes. They are among my most sentimental possessions. I also have an unopened, mint Thief Gold cd. And hi scumble! I don't know if anyone remembers me, but I sure remember all you guys, very fondly. <3

Reminds me that I dumped the boxes in a random "I'm not interested in these old games!" moment. I was also vexed recalling I'd dumped my Duke3d discs too. I seem to keep pretending I've grown up...

I think it's the time for sneaking back in quietly, I have no idea who half of the people on here are these days but it still kinda feels the like the same place.

I feel your pain. I actually got a job and family as a facade to pretend I grew past the age of 12. I paid bills for decades even. I own stuff. Grown up stuff. Ah but now that I'm getting older I've gone back to all the things I liked at 12. I quit pretending. If people don't like it then do I care? Did I care at 12? Nope.

You know the bad thing about not having kids? You cant introduce them to games like Thief and System Shock.

That's true, but I did introduce my husband to Thief and ss2.....and he acts an awful lot like a kid. Does that count? He STILL can't handle System Shock 2 hahahah ooooh so scary
