Maybe I don't know what a power strike is, but I don't think this is true. I've gotten PLENTY of 6x stealth strikes with poisoned enchanted swords doing what I think is a power strike (holding down the attack button until you take a big swing).
Now what I've just discovered is that you can't do a 6x power strike with a claymore, or at least not with an enchanted claymore but probably any type. Not sure why that is. I always get a 1x message on the screen. Haven't tried a non powered claymore sneak strike yet, I should do that. I have a wicked wicked claymore, but it's really heavy and I can't shield block while using it, and if I can't ever get a 6x strike with it I'm just going to sell it.

RarRar - yo only get the bonus using one handed weapons, so claymores won't work. The power strike does extra damage, but you don't get both the 6x sneak bonus and the power strike bonus, only the sneak bonus. So there's no point power striking.
