How do the multipliers add up?
When you're sneaking you get 4x or 6x damage..
Power attacks do more damage, and poison can do more on top of that.
The way I'd assume it works is that you get 4x or 6x the power attack damage, then add on the poison damage - because the poison's effect wouldn't be any stronger for being delivered to an unaware victim, but a solid smack around the head from a power attack could be even more devastating if it was a surprise.
But is this how it works?

As far as I've been able to determine, poisons count as a static effect much like spells and "On Strike" enchantments. Neither of those are subject to the Sneak damage modifier.

According to the manual, power strikes count as normal strikes when backstabbing.

SneakAttackBonus * damageDealt = sneakDamage

Poison? I've made plenty of poisonous potions...can these somehow be applied to weapons?

ummmm.....yeah! Duh! Just click on the poison potion (they're green),

heh, i was afraid to click the green bottles at first cause i was unsure of what a poison bottle looked like. I thought i drink it on accident and take the penalty myself. Finally i said screw it when getting springheel jak's boots. The vamps kept doing a stupid instant heal

Don't 'duh' me - clicking on poison potions in Morrowind caused you to drink the potion - the game never told me this was any different:(
Thanks for the help though, I look forward to my poisoned weapons.
