SNAFU moves to Morrowind... - by SNAFU

You are aware you're talking about the effects of real-world physics on a body moving at an estimated 200 miles an hour, several hundred feet up in the air, that was, in fact, accelerated from a full stop to its current speed in half a second? ... Yay!
(There is no magic.)

I’m aware.
*Picard, “Engage!”*
[Not even Troi’s spandex G-suit is going to save her.]

Another idea: quickly cast almsivi or divine intervention while in mid-fall.

That works too. However I was using my ring of insane jumping to get around quickly to places that didn't have a Mages Guild, Temple or Imperial Shrine nearby so stopping my fall by Levitation was the way to go for my purposes.

A bit off topic, but I remember that trick using Levitation on an enemy to either make him stop moving (Levitation 0pts on target) or go straight up into the air and then fall to his death when the spell wears off. I've yet to try it though!

I tried it on (surprise, surprise) Fargoth....it's extremely amusing to watch your foe rise helplessly into the air, still yelling defiantly and trying to swipe at you, then plummet to a bone crunching death

Yay! Using my ultra-leet skillz and being an overconservative dweeb (don't want to use another; they could come in handy, such as giving them to my friends as a practical joke, or my enemies... :ebil: ), I managed to pull off a less-than-elegant solution. Namely, I tried to midair manuever so I landed in the ever ubiquitous sea. Genius!
I then got pwned by a slaughter fish.
*sigh*This just isn't my lifetime...

Wow, that is some really funny shit!
Poor SNAFU. Recommendation, try landing in a small pond instead :)
