Basically, the little robots in Angelwatch (you know, Life of the Party) get stuck on the edges of the walls before staircases, and I can't disable them by firing water arrows into the boiler when they do get stuck - it just shrugs them off like nothing happened. I could try to unstick them by alerting them or asploding them, but I'd obviously prefer not to do that...
I'm using the GOG.com version patched to 1.19. (I should probably upgrade to 1.20 or whatever it's up to know, but relnotes IIRC didn't mention this kind of thing.)

Even with the latest Tafferpatcher, robots and people get stuck on staircaes.
And robots are not a problem: they're blind. Unless you alert them, there's nothing to worry about.

problem with thief 2 is alot of the missions were unfinished, but they made it part of storyline as if the mech were still growing with in the city, smart for story, but crappy for gameplay

ahh, the resident random sentence generator.
both TFix and TafferPatcher include fixed maps that try to prevent AIs from getting stuck here and there, but it may sometimes happen anyway.

Small robots in Angelwatch get stuck on geometry.
I heard they were particularly crap at Math in general.
Ba dum tss.

Consider having to make additional distractions to "unjam" the npcs as extra challenge, as silly as it might be.
