I didn't know. I have to say I much preferred Barker but even so, when someone's been around all your life, it's a bit of a shock when they're not there anymore. And that clip is a classic. :)

Never knew this guy's name before, but I remember his face. We didn't get a lot of UK TV back in the day, with the exception of Monty Python, Faulty Towers, etc. That video was a funny bit. You really wouldn't have much of that pronunciation and word confusion issue in the USA, but in the UK, you can travel just a few miles and have issues understanding what the hell someone is saying. It's really not that extreme, I guess, but it does make for some good ribbing and fun. Thanks for sharing this and broadening my horizons today. :)

I will always remember The Two Ronnies.
Saturday night telly, sitting on the couch with your tea* on your lap (sausage/egg/chips). Dad laughing like a drain, the whole family glued to messrs Corbett and Barker's antics onscreen. Treasured memories.
..and it's Goodnight from him..

I don't know who this fellow is you're going on about in Garry Shandling's thread.
