I think you can buy sniper rounds from that dude in Freedom base in 1.0005.

Yeah, Petrenko has them as well from time to time. It's the 180R per round I'd like to avoid (not that I'm short of cash, but it's the principle of the thing)

Hey, could you post values for 5.45? Or just tell me which file holds these values.
All in all though, the ammo seems to be very secondary... I mean only difference between 9x18 and 5.56 is slightly better accuracy - lol wut. Unless you're using "weird" ammo(And I never do) the gun is what matters most...

All the values are in config\weapons. Ammo is in the weapons.ltx file, guns are in their respectively named ltx files.

It just occurred to me that those values are from a pretty old version, since I use my own modified values and I extracted the originals from, I think, version 1.1 (or whatever the first patch was).
I had a quick look through and it doesn't appear as though any values have been changed.
5.45x39mm AK/Abakaninv_name_short = ammo-5.45x39-fmj_s
inv_weight = .32
k_dist = 1
k_disp = 3
k_hit = 1
k_impulse = 1
k_pierce = 1
impair = 1
buck_shot = 1
tracer = on
Keeper_Andrus on 28/1/2008 at 16:03
what is tracer=on?
D'Arcy on 28/1/2008 at 21:08
I suppose that tracer=on means that you can actually see the bullets' trajectory after you fire them. Which is nice.
