Can't find another thread about this.
Scifi/comedy/horror with the guy from Serenity.
One liners galore, plus me and my 3 friends were essentially the only ones there and added a little MST to the scene.
Also we are EXACTLY the target audience of the DOA movie trailer that played before. Yeow etc.

died a freakishly horrible death at the Box Office. That said, I liked it quite a bit. I probably would have liked it better had I not been the ONLY PERSON IN THE THEATRE. Ten o'clock show on a saturday night, second week of release.
When I went to nine a.m. show of Hellboy there was one other guy there. Slither? nada.

Aw come on... cinemas are much better when your party are the only ones there.
We went and saw Harry Potter&tGOF weeks after it's release and it was just some old couples there. When it came to
Voldy's resurrection scene
, the old man's beeper went off. That was much funnier than being shushed for talking during the opening car adverts.

true. but when you ALONE are the only living breathing person in the theatre, it's rather crappy and surreal.

You kidding? That's way cool, like having your own private cinema.

I liked Slither. Though I'm told it's a blatant rip off of...everything. Particularly Night of the Creeps, or something.

But I didn't mind. It was still worth the watch. Too bad it didn't do so well.
