Is there any particular reason why a member's profile can't be viewed unless I'm logged in?
I also become automatically logged out if I sit on a page too long. :p

I'd heard about the auto-logout thing a few times on IRC, but I had assumed it had to do with members having the cookie-thingie set wrong in their profile. Which was true in most cases.
But it happened to me yesterday, and I have the cookie-thingie set fine.
So I think that's something we'll need to look at.
(No, not just because it happened to me. ;) But it seems to be happening with enough frequency to warrant a check to make sure nothing's fundamentally weird, yeah)

The needing to be logged in to view member info is deliberate... We see no need to leave our memberlist wide open and available for any yahoo who strolls through looking for email addresses to add to a spam-list etc.
As for the auto-logout thing... (sigh) I've been trying to figure out exactly why that happens even to those with the cookie option active, but as of yet have no solid solution. Will keep investigating it and looking for a fix... sorry about that, I know it's an annoyance.
