Not in the slightest - I'm a good honest Argonian bringing down the slave trade from the inside, freeing every slave I can! :sly: Am hoping they'll still give the twin lamps quests to an Telvanni though..

I think it's been fairly well establised that slaves/stronghold staff are pretty much useless. mlk8f, I also noticed that the sly little traitors reported me for taking stuff out of crates! Can you believe that?
There are plenty of great companion mods around though (for those on PC); most people think the Girlfriend/Boyfriend mods are the best. They provide you with the choice of Indiana James or Laura Craft :) who have houses outside Vivec's foreign quarter, and they have all sorts of nifty features. So I'd recommend them to anyone who wants a little friend to foloow them around. It can get lonely sometimes when you're trekking across the Ashlands on your own :)

With my stronghold, the upper tower has nothing in it not even a room(at the top) will there ever be one? b/c the lady said that its done but theres like no point to the place at all. whats the whole point of the "stronghold" is it just there just to be there? or does it have a purpose? :ebil:

The stronghold's a place to dump or display all your cool stuff where it won't disappear. You can also keep stockpiles of potions, scrolls or other useful items there so that they're easily accessible. It's a place to rest safely and a handy recall point (unless you're a Redoran, as the stronghold's bloody miles from Ald'Ruhn and Maar Gan) .

I haven't really noticed that, and I would know because I've left lying around some stuff like glass apparel and items that are worth a lot, but I cannot carry them all around to the merchant. I have a few piles in the middle of the street of Balmora, and some things on a fence in Great Bazaar of Mournhold, but so far everything is still there (which is kind of surprising for a realm that has a legal guild of thieves).

Stuff can disappear if you put it in containers that had something inside them when you first opened them. These are set to respawn contents periodically, like, frex, the supply chests in Mages' and Fighters' guilds.
Empty containers can be used and stuff shouldn't disappear.
Forsythe said recently that corpses and all they carry disappear eventually, too.

Ugh, my first good axe that I had was the Dwarven battle axe 'Last Rites'; I put it in the Wolverine Hall Fighters' Guild box, and when I tried to take it out they all attacked me.. Cursed bugs. :(
Oh, and about the stuff dissappearing (or not, rather), I have been meaning to ask: if you leave some stuf on the floor of a house (I left Sunder in a little house in Balmora! It weighs like crazy y'know! :D), will it still be there in Tribunal? I've apparently maxed out my carry-on amount and strength, and I keep finding cool things I want to keep! Perhaps I should get a Feather spell or ring or something..

It's a funny thing that those chests never get resupplied for me. Naturally I would salvage all the Restore Magicka potions, but those never came back.
The corpses disappear along with their inventory, but if you remove the items and put them on the floor it stays there... I once had to fight two Ordinators, and then I piled their armour on the floor, and the result was quite creepy because the helmet which has all the facial features, was on top of the chest piece, so from afar it looked as if there was a limbless torso just sitting there
As for the items you leave in the rooms, I have a lot of stuff in the Caius' room in Balmora, and I haven't noticed anything disappearing after installing the Tribunal expansion.
By the way, what is this talk about strongholds and their levels?

ya can get a stronghold when ya join the great houses, Redoran, Hlaalu and telvanni, once ya level in ranks to Mouth or the equivlent ya can start buildin ya stronghold, once first stage is completed ya start the second and then third
Third is the final stage and is the best and the slaves/men at arms discussion, fromwhat I understand ya can hire slaves to work in mines and hire guards to guard the place from rebels and bandits, i dunno if htis is true since i'm at the place of buildin my Hlaalu stronghold but it is said that to get to third stage of the Hlaalu stonrghold ya have to hire slaves and a guard since there is a mine not far away
And as for the disappearin of items, this has happened to me also and I have lost 3 daedric Claymores,a full set of Glass Armour, full set of ebony and the daedric crescent, i have heard that if ya store too much in ya stronghold then it 'overflows' and gets stored in an 'overflow sack' which is somewhere around the stronghold, which ya have to find to get ya stuff back
I'll look into this abit more and try it out myself but that is what i've been told what happens in strongholds but if I were ya, i would store valuable stuff in empty crates or keep ya on them at all times
