Can any master of TES lore explain to me how Argonians, which are lizards and thus cold-blooded, can survive in sub-arctic climate of Skyrim?

I *) would assume the same way as the dragons, being lizards (or descendants of ~) themselves. :p
What bothers me though is the point of having any form of light sources (spells, torches, ...) when every oh-so-long-lost dungeon has some conveniently placed torch/fire/... around every corner. That would be a mod I'd install: "Lights out!" if there is any.
So, our best answer to both would be: It's magic! :erg:
*) Not a master of TES lore

That light-thing annoys me as well. I started out using a torch while exploring since it added to immersion and fun, but it became cumbersome to swap around, since the 1-8 numbers are not enough in hotkeys. Why there isn't any actually dark caverns? Has every single cave been modernized by dorfs at some point?

Since when does Skyrim has an official name for the protagonist?
Dia on 18/11/2011 at 12:58
Since Bethesda decided it did.

It's not the character's name.

Dovahkiin = dragonborn

To be fair, it's not the first time someone is named from a movie, game, book, popular media,
or the GOD DAMNED BIBLE!

He will not have any friends though, the first time he opens his mouth at a sandbox...Fus ro dah!
