Hi all,
I have a problem. Maybe someone can help? I cannot get Skink (in Mages' Guild, Sadrith Mora) to give me any quests. I looked it up in the walkthrough, and evidently his quests are activated by Edwinna's (Ald-ruhn mages' guild) detect creature potion quest. But she never gave me that one; it was just missed out. (she didn't give me the borrow the Chimarvamidium quest, either, though she thanked me for getting it for her, gave the book to me to give back to wotsername, and when I was puzzled and clicked on the latter's link in the dialogue box, Edwinna then thanked me for returning it. So I ended up with a copy of the book)
Anyhow, I completed all the quests she gave me, and I'm a master wizard, yet Skink still tells me that he's busy with Edwinna's potion and to come back later.

Hrm.. I hate to say it, but you're hosed unless you're on a PC. If you are, say so and someone will give you a console command to let you 'fix' Skink.

Oh yes, I just want to say: What a wonderful game! I've been waiting for it for years and I am beyond impressed.

Thank you! But... how do I do that? I take it it's a console command, so do I press the console key (while I have my game loaded?) and just type:
Journal MG_Potion 100
like you said? sorry, but while I'm reasonably competent on the basic level, I'm not a computer whizz, and I don't want to do anything silly. Thanks again.

Here are the steps:
- Load your save game.
- Open the console (Usually the ~ key)
- Type in the command and press enter.
If you have it wrong, a message is given. Now check with Skink and everything should work.
