Okay, I'm having a big problem. I am supposed to talk to the orc Shum gro-Yarug in Skingrad Castle in order to buy the house in Skingrad. The only problem is that he isn't there! If I have the compass pointers on, it trys to lead me into the city, then back out another gate, the up to the bridge, but then when I approach the bridge the arrow instantly switches back to red and points back to the city. It will do this over and over forever if I try to follow the arrow.
If I go under the bridge instead of up the path that goes onto the bridge, then the green arrow still points to a certain place on the bridge, or under it. I've managed to climb up under the bridge toward the castle side, and the arrow seems to point right into the middle of the one of the bridge supports. Could the guy have fallen off the bridge and then his body slid/morphed right into the bridge support? My detect life spell doesn't see anything there.
So I can't find him anywhere in the castle after searching forever and ever, nor in the town. I'm sure he's dead and stuck in the bridge.
- Can I open the console and get him back?
- What can I do?
- I really want that house!
- Please help!
What I'm hoping is that there's some way via the console to automatically give myself the key, or reset the orc to his starting location, or something like that.
- What's the exact name of the key and what would I type in the console to give me the key?
THANKS!

He comes and goes.
Have you tried waiting for him in the County Hall (whatever it is called - the main castle room)? If you do a WAIT 1 HR over and over he should eventually show up.
Cheers,
Martek

No, it was definitely broken. I read other forums and other people have come up against the same problem, a real bug in the game. I had tried on many different days, searching forever and ever, everywhere. I even broke into all the rooms in the castle looking for him, and searched everywhere in town. It was absolutely most certainly busted.
But good news - someone over at (
http://www.elderscrolls.com/forums/) made a small mod that simply makes a copy of the orc and sticks him in the West Weald Inn. I loaded it up, and didn't find him in the inn, but found him on the bridge where he might usually be if the bug hadn't happened, and all was well after that!
Here's a link to the mod if anyone else comes along and finds this thread with the same problem:
