Cross purposes here - Komag is talking about the tutorial and STiFU is talking about OpenOffice. :)

AHA, now I get it!

Sorry that i was talking off-topic... :) I have taken a look at your tutorial and i understood the skyboxes yesterday... :D Finally! I hadnt seen a tutorial about skyboxes until now so i thought it has just to be built around the level, like its done in worldcraft. That was a noobish mistake! ;)
I am going to download Openoffice 2 now. Lets check it out. I heard that the autostartloader takes 40mb (!!!) of ram... So i guess ill just have a slow start (still) but version 2. :)

I only take slashdot articles with a grain of salt. It's the discussion afterwards that's more interesting. Beside's OpenOffice is free & developed by the community & it runs on more than one operating system. There's got to be some compromises when run one different systems.

The real problem is that unlike Windows, MS Office is a genuinely good piece of software. /offtopic
Anyhoo, Komag's tut... I'm doing it now. Dammit, with a bit of cosmetic work and the remaining screenshots added it could be a commercial work. Any approximate date for contest 11? :)

Yeah, Komag always makes sure to include things that mappers take for granted, like explaining where a button is and what it looks like. Without that you spend 5x as long moving your mouse over every icon waiting for the little bubble help.
With the pictures this thing is just awsome.

hmm i'm thinking about making my own t3 fm's, but before i start i have a few questions
-how many t3 fm's are out allready,+-
-is it hard to learn?? i started on dromed for t2, but i had some mistakes in the program and i backed out but i still want to build my own missions but then again why build t2 missions when t3 is out
-are there dutch builders here?
STiFU on 5/11/2005 at 19:27
Until now there are 6 "real" FMs out there, which are:
-Lord Ravens Mansion
-Schism
-Special Vintage
-Krelleks Labyrinth
-Townhouse/Two Steps
-The Walk
And there are those from Komag's contests. I do only know the c6fms, which you can get here:

In my oppinion the hardest thing regarding t3edit is to get around the bugs. The editor himself is very good and after some time you ll be pro on that one. :) I'd advice you to try that one out and to build a FM. We can always need more authors here.

I can only talk of me and I am german. Yes, now you all know why my english is so bad. ;)

Okay, I've updated the tutorial again! The biggest change is towards the end, the whole getting your mission finished up part.
