Hmm, I thought my Word had an Adobe plugin when I got the computer, but now I seem to recall uninstalling the Adobe due to hating it's intrusion in the menus at the top!
Anyway, I'm hesitant to install OpenOffice (though I like the concept), so perhaps you could do a conversion to PDF for me and send me the file? :)

Hey, thanks a ton, but never mind about the conversion, as I managed it myself already! The download link for the tutorial now contains both the Word and PDF versions :thumb:

The best settings I used were lossless compression which resulted with a 14 mb file :wot:

Hehe. I sould download the new version too. Does it still start as lame as the previous versions?
Komag on 3/11/2005 at 20:03
I got my hands on Adobe7.0 and installed it again and it comes with plugins for lots of programs (including Office 2003) to make PDFs. Then I just did "save as PDF", no settings or anything that I noticed. It came out as 4.5meg, decent looking pics I guess.
STiFU, by starting "lame" do you mean for beginners? Then yes, it starts vey easy and treats you like a newbie!
STiFU on 3/11/2005 at 21:15
No no. I meant slow. Guess lame is not a word that fits for that meaning. :) My Open Office 1.1.3 takes very long to load and that sucks. Just wanted to know it the new version loads up faster. But ill just try out...

I have no idea, but it's a large file so maybe it loads slow for other people (it loads quick on my computer)
