I am stuffed full of amazing free range organic turkey with homemade sage and onion and pork stuffing served with the fattiest of potatoes and gravy with steamed carrots and brussel sprouts! Started off with seafood and champagne, followed that with a margarita to whet the appetite, had the main and wrapped it up with Christmas pudding (couldn't finish it).
Tomorrow I wake up, watch the kids rip open their presents and then set about making bbq pork ribs and potato salad for our big Christmas day lunch with our adoptive family. :D
After that, drinks at our place and firing up Inception on the blu-ray.
Boxing day, stave off a hangover with more food and booze while maybe watching a spot of the Test Match.
I love this time of year.

Well christmas eve is drawing to a close over here.
I got:
some Scotch Whisky from my sister
Lots of socks
chocolate
money!
2 crime fiction books
1 book with hilarious hateful jokes about Norwegians. Here's a sample joke:
"Why do Norwegians fill their computers with water?
So they can surf on the internet!"
Merry Christmas everybody! :D

It's really effing cold here (Central-Finland), something around -27 C now, so staying inside and guffing up hot drinks feels even better than usual. Stuffed awesome food already, Karelian roast (traditional finnish food made by grandma, hell yeah), different kinds of cheese and wines, ham with homemade chili and whiskey mustard. Nom nom
I got a great christmas present as well. I am trying to be a bit of a coffee connoisseur, yet my funds have this far prevented me getting any real equipment to make really good coffee. My parents got me an (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AeroPress) Aeropress and goddamn, I can't believe one can make such good coffee with such a cheap machine (something around 40€ I believe). Put my freshly grinded Finca Santa Clara (Guatemala, dark roast) to good use.
The unforunate thing is that there's no reason for me to visit cafes anymore, since the ones in my hometown suck enough to be subpar compared to this. Only needed, if I need cappucino or a latte (I shall be adding a milk steamer or whatever it is called to my catalogue soon though).

It's Christmas here now. And it's effing cold and cloudy. And for some reason I got more cakes from people this year than I know what do with. I'm not even thin, I don't think so. Anyhoo, it's going to be a uniquely wine and cakey morning.
Merry Christmas, TTLGers!

Merry Christmas everyone!
I'm going to sleep, have to get up early tomorrow to visit church (you know, the reason for the season ;) ), I'm singing in a little choir and I'm expected not to suck so I have to get some sleep in. Y'all have a great day!
