Based on my experience with modern "cinematic action games" -there is little difference between the exaggerated version of cinematic gameplay, and the actual.
When it was revealed that Stephen Russell wasn't included because EM wanted full-performance capture without automated lipsynching, I exaggerated and made a joke that in EM's laziness, the next thing they're going to tell us is that there are no regular movement controls anymore. That everything has been contextualized to allow animations to be easily sychronized with the environment.
A week later contextual jumping was revealed. I thought it was a joke, since what I said was.

You still don't know what those sequences will be like. If they are like that then come back and post about them. Your prior predictions are irrelevant. I've played a few zombie games anyone who has could have made some predictions about The Last Of Us based on that. They'd have been wrong though.

Yes, you're right. The
"I told you so" mentality is stupid mental masturbation anyway. I apologize.
On that point, we don't actually know if the escape sequences are bound to happen after every mission. Maybe all the previewers simply did stealth badly and that's why they got caught in the end. Though I wouldn't hold much hope for that possibility, because the developers spent way too much effort on building the elaborate cinematic escapes. I mean, the game doesn't even let you look away from the collapse of the burning building,as you can clearly see in that part of the trailer.
