If I type a message and include my sig, then do a Preview, and follow it up with a "Submit Message," my sig disappears. Shouldn't everything that appears in the previewed message area be posted w/o having to go back and checkmark the sig box again?

Yes, it should. I have narrowed it down to the fact that we have the "Show signature" box unchecked by default, whereas the vBulletin default is to have it on. I have posted at the vBulletin forums to see if there is a fix for it.

Speaking of sigs... when sending a PM the signature is on by default. I think having the box unchecked there as well would be a good idea.

Yeah, it should be. The only reason I haven't is because having it on by default leads to some unintentional comedy when I send PMs to MsLedd and GBM saying I'm going to modify the boards, or the server of something and end up with my sig appended to it! :cheeky:

:laff:
And I'm unintentionally telling people that my FM has been released (a year ago) ;)

Hmmm, just curious, but I've had a signature for myself for quite a while now, but it never shows up beneath my posts. I have "show sigs" checked, do I have to do something else to enable them?

There is a checkbox under Miscellaneous Options called Show your signature just under the section where you write your post. Are you checking that?

Ah, now it works. thanks.
