The poster who sighted the lack of oxygen theory stated it like it was a proven fact and the end of discussion not just another theory.

the blind reference
Probably one of the most famous NDE experiences.

What isn't reported here is that her eyes were sealed shut and ears plugged with speakers that emitted a sound.
The wiki points to critics of her hearing about the smallness of the artery saying she might have still been able to hear but avoid mentioning the saw.
Just so you know, you cite the WORST things as evidence of anything. Anything you link to is always something NAMED THE THING YOU WANT TO CLAIM. Do you actually think that we even bother to look at a site named near-death to see what information it has on NDE?
The whole vision thing makes me wonder, because sight implies light which implies eyes. You don't see without eyes, it just cant work. You could have knowledge of what was there, but you wouldn't "see" it unless your eyes were physically there. I'm sure this doesn't bother NDE people, but it makes me chuckle a little. Its like people who think they are visited by dead friends in dreams. We know of know way by which that can actually happen, but we know for sure that the brain is capable of simulating it just fine. Just like NDE, we have no idea any way it could actually happen, but we know just how well the brain could simulate it.

While knowing you won't go there if we have a replica of our body but vibrating at a higher frequency, out of the range of our senses with itself having eyes, ears and such we would be able to pick up stimuli from the environment.but it is only one possible explanation.
I tried to link to the wiki sight about the woman with the anurism but wouldn't let me link.

I almost missed the title of this thread. Signs from God. I've seen one very very clear sign of god in my life.
Edit: bah, it seems the direct link didn't work. Gimme a sec.

Maybe they were actually staging Phantom of the Opera, and she was playing the chandelier.
One of my favorite "church performances" we stumbled across recently was in Mississippi: a drive-thru crucifixion. One literally drove around this course, between the sheet-metal, pole-barn shed and the sheet-metal, pole-barn church, into a true-to-scale reenactment of the crucifixion--complete with the savior dangling from a cross.
I know they were trying to be serious, but it was hard to not giggle with glee at the whole scene; especially when they had a giant billboard out front that read on one side "Jesus Saves" with an arrow pointing upward, and on the other side the slogan "Satan Sucks" with the arrow pointing down.
