Yes this explains how some people blind from birth can see and describe the environment of the operating room during an NDE.
CITATION NEEDED

Also, for the record: "sticking pictures to the tops of shelves" is hardly a bank-breaking science expense.
And 'seeing shit which was very similar' != 'problem solved, get back to curing cancer.'
Just because you can induce a similar effect deliberately, it doesn't necessarily prove that the effect observed in reality is the same. Supports that argument, certainly, but is far from a proof.
Also, come to that, 'tunnel of light' != 'floating above your own body'.
Really though, pendantics aside: It's a cheap, fun, silly experiment that will most probably largely disprove the whole thing, will garner (has garnered, actually) media attention, and probably secure some extra funding that can be spent on proper science. This is often how science works.

Citation or fuck off. Or both, considering that any citation is going to lead back to a website or book that actually, permanently makes its readers even more credulous and weak-minded than they already were.

- There is a big white table with a body on it... a masked white woman is leaning over it...unconscious... I can see his face now... OMFG IT'S ME!!!
- But sir, you never had an operation.
- Oh... must have been my wedding then.

All I have to say is, good thinking there, mein Fuhrer. Though you lose points for not insisting that we force all unbelievers in work and reeducation camps, and utilize humane euthanasia when your efforts fail. Also, you fail because you didn't suggest we go on a world-wide crusade to impose our new, highly-moral values on the rest of the filthy, godless world.
Honestly, this fuck needs to have his information outed so he can be found and executed so as to help prevent the spread of his obviously filthy genes. He is a shining reason why I believe certain people shouldn't be allowed to learn to read or write; because if you're illiterate, no one will
ever take you seriously.
Maybe you're the one that needs to learn to read, his whole scenario was just to point out how stupid those things would be

You are suggesting vigilantism against someone using an obviously hyperbolic scenario to argue for your own position.

Some people never learned to read correctly to begin with.

The poster who sighted the lack of oxygen theory stated it like it was a proven fact and the end of discussion not just another theory.

the blind reference
Probably one of the most famous NDE experiences.

What isn't reported here is that her eyes were sealed shut and ears plugged with speakers that emitted a sound.
The wiki points to critics of her hearing about the smallness of the artery saying she might have still been able to hear but avoid mentioning the saw.
