Hi there...
Although I'd love to say 'Yes' (as it is quite simply one of the best games ever made), I'm afraid I don't personally think it's a good idea.
If you look around at some of the technical questions around this forum you will find Deus Ex is a system hog. No mistake. I hear quite a few people have problems running it on systems which are a fair bit better than yours (or mine infact).
Personally I haven't had much trouble (apart from a very frustrating period before the D3D patch) with a AMD K6 3 450, 128 meg RAM and a Rage Pro 128 which, to be frank, ain't that hot nowadays...
Hope that's been some help :cheeky:

I would counsel you to buy DX as I would advise a great book to everyone, no matter whether they can read or not. Try it. If it doesn't work, buy a new computer. That's your only chance. :)

Indeed, coolhitman, you'll have a better computer one day, but Deus Ex might not be so easy to find in the shops by then!

Actually I played it on a P2-350 with TNT1 for a long time. Even in 960x720. Everything on high - with the latest patch it should do okay, just stay out of firefights. When you get a new PC you can play it again and open a can of whoop-ass on them. :D

Coolhitman, if you upgrade your RAM to 128MB you will find that your computer will run 50-100% faster. Adding just 64MB RAM will only cost you $20. Once you are at 128MB, you will be able to enjoy DX at the lowest graphics settings.

Yes... By it. My computer is 367 MHZ 64 MB Ram and Voodoo 3 2000 3D card.
It works.. But not without lagging in certain scenes...

Buy it. It will work, though at a low resolution and some graphical options turned off, and some lag in built up areas and scenes. But it is worth it, perfection always is, isn't it?
