Some of the glass windows in DX are unbreakable and whatever is on the other side is safe from your attacks - the corridor where Bob Page and Maggie Chow have their conversation at Versa Life is one example.
However, I've noticed that some of the window panes aren't properly aligned and if you get your aim just right you can have quite a bit of fun.
The first window you'll come across is the one to the armoury at UNATCO HQ.

This one is very useful as you can shoot Sam Carter through it. When he gets angry enough, he'll pull out his gun and start attacking you. But first, he'll open the door to the armoury!
The second two windows are at the sub base.

Both windows are on the top floor of the room with the scientists and the ambrosia and plague cannisters. As you can see from the screenshots above, you can shoot through the gap - great for taking out those pesky guards from a position of relative safety.
The gap is so large that you can send the spy drone through it!
Sadly, it isn't large enough to fit through :(
Does anyone know of any other windows which have these small gaps in them which can be made to work for you?

There are a couple of weapons cabinets with badly aligned doors. You can take what's inside without unlocking them.

Add that to the Strange & Unusual guide for DX!:thumb: I guess we could call it glass-holing... No wait that doesn't sound right.

I got to thinking that we might as well have a thread for the Strange & Unusual in Deus Ex. Hopefully one day someone can make it into a guide but for now I'll do a recap.
Spy Drone Slow-Fall
This is kind of the opposite of grenade jumping. Switching on Spy Drone in mid fall slows your descent down to a crawl. It's useful in Hong Kong and Vandenburg to name a couple of places.
Cheating in Training
To keep your equipment in the training mission, stand in the spot right before your items get taken away and throw them past the window. Then you can pick them up from the other side. It's up to you how to abuse the mission, but I've heard the guards in the stealth course can't be killed.
Kung Fu Kills
By whatever means necessary, jump onto someone's head to kill them. Speed Enhancement helps. You have to peg them from a decent height for it to work.
Keep your stuff when MJ12 captures you
Right after you either surrender or get shot in the head, hit the inventory key as the next level loads. You'll appear in your cell with your inventory screen open. Drop all your stuff on the floor and exit the screen. This is when you'd normally lose all your stuff, but since you dropped it you can pick it back up again and waltz out of the cell block fully armed.
Lose your torso and live
In the Paris subways when you're meeting with Toby Atanwe, jumping onto the tracks electrocutes you. If you time it so that he starts the conversation while you're being zapped, you'll die just as you are drugged and taken to Everett's home. When you wake up you'll find that your torso is gone, even though you are very much alive. In this state you are not invincible. In fact it's quite the opposite as even a slight breeze can kill you.
Other things that are widely known at this point are:
-Grenade Jumping
-Item Duplication
I've heard it's possible to get both Cloak and Radar Transparency, but I have no idea how.

You can also lose your Torso and live anywhere Jock picks you up I did it a few times at the graveyard, where the LZ was hot.
