Why would a chapel be on a ship designed for battle than a ship designed for exploration like the VB?
I know the ship's section was turned upside down but still I think it's awesome. They didn't have to put a chapel on the ship in the first place infact to me it looks out of place.

perhaps it's just a continuation of the rank and file of military tending to be slightly more religious/faithful than skeptical, secular scientists? there are no atheists in foxholes, after all.
