While Al_B is trying to fix the error within shockcfg, I will try to make a patch for ss2 and w7(8). We need a german language patch that patches system shock 2 and leaves the dirctory structure untouched? I was the first who made this languagefix, when stranger and now are the current authors asked. Can you help to do such a patch?

Al_B the thread you posted talks only about system shock 2.4. this is not the vanila one, so we can't use it an shockcfg works only for w98 and xp. :(

I pleased Al_B to change my nickname into NiXPhoE, because I use this one in other communitys and forums. Thank you Al!
At the moment there are problems with shockcfg so I removed the download for short. Please mail me if you need it anyway. I hope Al_B can fix the bug, that there always comes the choose the directory dialog, if you hit the save-button. So long I will try to make the RickenbackerMainEN better. I sayed I will paint 4 dragons within RickenbackerMainDE. I don't know ifI will ever paint only 1 dragon. This is a realy hard task! :) On the other hand dragon is my chinese sign. My be I will paint 2 animals, but not 4 because this would be not good in the chinese philosophie.
Is there hope for a patch that anyone can play the vanilla System Shock 2 on Windows 7 and 8? Please help with this!???

I did a mistake. It is said: Never change a running System! I did this and removed the SaveCfg and now ShockCfg don't saves correctly. I will wait until Al_B has reviewed ShockCfg and maybe he can correct this bug. If not, I will switch back to SaveCfg and WriteCfg.
I just tried to play System Shock 2 on XP and a 64-Bit machine, but I failed.
