That's because you're a sociopath.

no, there is a bug I think...
sometimes in a Read** or Write** 'file
there is a "string"
and an end + *value*
or something similar
but *a value*
is larger than "string".length
what is the file and line?
and what is the error?
zylonbane I think this is more interessting to you ;D

would you use super()'objects or abstract'... for read's and write's?
Cyberpunkgothic1 on 10/6/2010 at 05:12
hm, I will better ask the experts... however the written files work correct.
If you would like to test the first, old version ShockCfg 2,
you can get it here:
(
www.shockcfg.org/SYSTEMSHOCK2_CFG.ZIP)
have fun! >;

well, about quest 1 I can say, that the error doesnt existed any more. could be that it was solved with the last version.
but by reading it again, I wonder why the method substring(start, end) uses unlogical numbers, but works like showed in test's.
I will rethink that logic and test again. It would be helpfull, if you mail me your cfg-files and user.bnd, found in the ss2 main directory. however, I will shortly post a quick definition, of the discret order of these files, so you can check these files by yourself with a hexviewer.
I also have to thank all users, that downloaded shockcfg and used it! :) 500 visitors was the maximum we reached so far in a month! :D
you are great! thank you! ;)
