I fixed the logo a little while after I finished the map in Photoshop... Still stuck with school projects to finish so if I get the time to make the variants of the barrel (three in all, I think) I'll post them up here

The barrel looks gorgeous. :thumb:

Fantastic - can I blow it up now please?

Skull looks a bit cartoonish. Almost funny, actually.
Most anyone here can attest that I'm a fanatic stickler for accuracy in these matters, but at a certain point you have to consider that the original art was severely constrained by the absurdly low resolution. In reality, poison hazards are indicated by a skull-and-crossbones, like (
http://www.speedysigns.com/signs/DANGER_Poison.asp) this one. There simply wasn't enough resolution available to the original artist to do that, but I think the original intent is clear.

Yeah I didn't like it much either. I'll *possibly* replace it with crossbones and another skull... I'll play with it a bit before I move on to the chemical barrel and the biohazard barrel.

I agree, try to stick as close to real life alternatives as possible like the ones (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_chemical_hazard_symbol) here oor the one ZylonBane linked too.
Still, keep up the good work and if you get tired of everyone whining about every minute detail then tell them to fuck right off.

yeah, im sick of what good modelers we have just abandoning good work cause people complain too much. I wish someone could just finish something :(

I welcome both complaints and praise. It's difficult to please people if they don't voice their concerns about my project, especially since I'm doing it for you guys.
Don't worry about posting, I'd like to hear more about what I'm doing... not less.
