He goes by the name Yukichigai. You want Bullet Time as an Aug? Overpowered I think. I used Zyme in several places ( excellent when coupled with modified Environmental Resist to reduce "drunken" time after the slow-mo ) and by the end of the game I still had over 20 vials left. Guess you can always try, his mod is pretty overpowered already. Hopefully we will have a passive Run Silent ( IW style ) in the next version as most people seemed to like that idea. More sneaking = more backstabbing.

No I want bullet time as a toggle option. Like, press the "R" key and I go bullet time until I press "R" again. DX is already incredibly easy, but that doesn't mean there's no reason to make it more fun. Since I have no issue completing the game it would be a lot more like "I wonder what this firefight would be like in slow motion" (without worrying about it stopping in the middle of battle just because I've "run out") than "damn I wish I had bullet time to get past these very difficult enemies."

As far as I know, there is a matrix slo-mo mod with the bullet-time aug.

The main problem is that all the bullet weapons in DX are instant hit: they just trace out a line and instantaneously apply damage if necessary. All the little yellow tracers are just cosmetic.
So...you have to find a way to magically replace all the instanthit weapons with projectiles (and make bullet meshes, etc etc), otherwise bullet time would be a tad pointless.
It's getting there. Looks great when it works, too.

That's not entirely true, all the bullet weapons do deal damage instantly and fire out tracers every 3rd or 4th shot or so, but the tracers also deal damage. I discovered with the time stop cheat (which stops everything in the game except for you from moving, you can't even change weapons, but you can still fire them). I was in UNATCO HQ and turned it on with the assault rifle out. I unloaded a whole clip into Gunther, and since bullets don't actually travel he grunted a bunch of times in pain (needlessly as he doesn't take damage), but the gun also deposited a whole bunch of tracers into the air right in front the barrel. I walked around in front of them, turned off time stop and they all flew into me dealing a fair amount of damage.
Thus! All you would really need to do is make sure everytime a gun fired it shot out a tracer, and turn of normal bullet damage. Other than that I think bullet time would be fun for rocket dodging, sniping, taking out a lot of guys with mad aiming skillz, and simply having the game run in slomo (especially if speech was slowed down, I'd do every dialouge like that.)

Interesting. I've never noticed it myself, but the code for projectiles does actually have this:

So tracers shouldn't, strictly speaking, ever cause damage. Curious.
