Thanks for the link. Quite interesting. :)
Now, if they actually make another Deus Ex(-type) game, I do hope that the guys with the big bank accounts recognise that you can make money with games that don't alienate the old fans and that don't go for half-assed, badly thought through compromises in design in order to appeal to the mass market.
And that it's worthwhile in the long run doing a separate PC version rather than creating a dodgy port of a compromised console version.

But as has been said before, with the newest generation of consoles there are unlikely to be many technological compromises for a long time. Definitely nothing on the scale of Thief 3 or Invisible War.

Since Microsoft made the hard drive optional on the 360 (aka the 'Tard Pack), that pretty much gimped it out of the gate.

There's been a string of cool interviews coming out recently. Anyway, this one is good reading like the rest.
Main dialogue writer for DX, huh? That's an impressive credential to be proud of.

Use a different browser then if Safari has problems with it. It works fine in Firefox, and thus will do so in Camino as well.

I have an issue of PC Gamer (uk version) of August 2001 which describes DX2 and Thief 3..
the title said "we are going to change the world"
the description looked very promisive for old fans of the games, but the result was poor as all we know..
I still hope that IW was NOT a deus ex 2, just a quick shit to make money on...i heard that they are working on DX2 now.

No, I'm pretty sure Eidos owns the rights and Junction Point isn't working with them anymore.
