you know, its really sad when a pirated version of a game performs better than the actual comercial game. I had this game pirated from a friend with a cd crack for a little while before i went out to buy it to see if it was worth a purchase, i got these little pauses every now and then that i always thought odd and chaulked up to bad ai and it having to caculate it. Well the comercial release does the same thing and seemingly more often, i get it sometimes without fighting, thats just pathetic, is there going to be a patch for this? if so it better be soon because this is a friggin joke, maybe i shoulda just waited for the x-box version you cant get away with half-assed stuff like this on a console game

kenshi - The top thread on this forum (the sticky thread regarding performance increase) has what most of us are using to get around this. The SafeDisc protection is believed to cause the majority of that lag you are dealing with, and installing the No-CD patch takes care of a lot of those pauses. Just remember to run the MORROWIND.exe rather than the launcher (which is the default icon on the desktop) and it should bring your performance back to their previous levels.
