Kek, walrus does indeed deserve all the snark he's getting. Especially the "where is the skill in that?" about legit speedrunning as opposed to glitching a game requiring skill :laff:
Anyways, I think I'm gonna try and sit through that walkthrough myself. As said, hoping there are good clever workarounds (instead of boring wallglitching or whatever).

When I think back on this marathon, I rather enjoyed the more restricted categories, like the all map tiles Super Metroid run and the all forts, all castles, small only Super Mario World run. The glitch heavy Doom 2016 run, in contrast, not so much. Of course, 100% runs can get tedious too, if they drag on too long, so I find that a good "balanced" category is usually the best to watch in that regard.
I do like some of the more restrictive runs myself, and usually I prefer 100% to any% (unless the run is longer than 2 hours). Doom 4's glitches are awesome once they're executed but the setups are very long, easy to screw up and quite boring to watch unfortunately.

I'd just like to sincerely thank you for posting this. Your words perfectly distill the ethos and the pathos of the glitch run underworld into a scintillating flawless gem of insanity.
