Harsh sounding perhaps but it's just a thought, given what you're saying here. Yeah I bet you can think of guys for whom that's in no way an obstacle to anything. I know I can. Still that's never really the point is it.
On the other hand elaborate self description is more an American thing than for our lot, so maybe this is normal (he'll turn out to be English now, knowing my luck).

It's definitely a possibility I've been kicking around in my head. Should I just give up and settle for something I'm not looking for or keep looking? Maybe I'm too hard on people or maybe I'm too hard on myself I don't know...

You do mean you're not interested
only in sex, right? If so, fair enough, but it just means you may have to let the physical side of the relationship go at a faster pace than you'd usually like (I don't think I've ever heard of a guy complaining about this possibility btw) . It doesn't mean you can't get to know someone and develop all those other aspects of the relationship whilst having fun sleeping with them at the same time.

I think you ask too much. And don't rub into people's faces the fact that you don't drink or smoke, this can be irritating. You'll find eventually the woman of your dreams. Don't go looking on the internet though, you might find the man of your dreams.

Dude, this is a problem with you internally. Once you start with the "Why can't I find a perfect woman" they can smell it on you and will avoid you like an unwashed heathen. Remember the phrase "The moment you stop looking for a woman, that's when you'll find one"? It is completely true. Just go on with your life, be aloof. I give it 6 months and you'll be on easy street. Just act like they don't exist.
