I am trying to use "SetLevel 37" in the console to raise my character level. I already finished the game and lost my saves. I don't have time to do all the leveling all over.
When I use the command, it appears to work. I quicksave, then reload, but my level still shows 1. Any suggestions how to change this? I need a higher level to continue the main quest.

UESP says: "For this to work properly you'll have to either use the command, save the game and restart, or gain a level in the normal fashion after using this command." I see you're tried saving without result, so try the other method - gain another level afterwards and see if it sticks.

Or you could level yourself up to 37 like I did. By attacking the white guar over and over again. I could kill High Ordinators in one hit =D
