The lack of narrow first and last posts per page is also very welcome.
Indeed it is.
Good job, guys. Awesome picture, too. :thumb:
EDIT: Hmm, the TTLG logo picture from the top-left appears to be broken. Just FYI.

I take it that the url reads ttlg.mobi/forums/ is intentional?
Nothing to see here!

At the moment everything is running from ttlg.mobi, until the DNS changes have been done and propagated. This way everyone can still get to the live forums.

Sorry, pre-coffee.

I'm pre-coffee and I'm not having any
Someone explain the url to me plz.

The main point is that DNS changes can take up to 72 hours to propagate around the Internet. Quite often it is less, but for some of the smaller ISPs it isn't.
I created a brand-new address, pointing at the new server for the forums to run off while the DNS propagates. As the address is brand new it is instantly picked up by ISPs.
It is on ttlg.mobi because I purchased that domain, and therefore have control of it.
On the old server users hitting ttlg.com/forums get bounced to the new server using a '307 Temporary' redirect and could use the forums.
If we did not have a temporary address then users hitting the old server would not be able to access the new forums as their DNS would be telling them that the forums were still on the old server.
Once 72 hours (or maybe 96 to be safe) have elapsed, they will be returned to the usual ttlg.com/forums URL.
tldr: don't worry about it.

what the above read like:

OK... First I'll access the secret military spy satelite that is in geosynchronous orbit over the midwest. Then I'll ID the limo by the vanity plate "MR. BIGGG" and get his approximate position. Then I'll reposition the transmission dish on the remote truck to 17.32 degrees east, hit WESTAR 4 over the Atlantic, bounce the signal back into the aerosphere up to COMSAT 6, beam it back to SATCOM 2 transmitter number 137 and down on the dish on the back of Mr. Big's limo...
It's almost too easy.

Interestingly, my school's filter blocks ttlg.com but not ttlg.mobi.
I don't suppose we could leave it set up like this...
Scots Taffer on 2/3/2010 at 00:02
Or you could just always use ttlg.mobi seeing as it's always running?
