Yeah, that one was too obvious.

There was plenty of outrage over Guantanamo else catbarf would never know of it and those folks were picked up during open fighting where they were trying to shoot soldiers.
That's funny because lots of those folks say that they weren't. Unfortunately, they weren't allowed to prove it in a court of law.

people who can't understand democracy is better than dictatorship
How arrogant. 70% of eligible Iraqis came out and voted in the 2005 Iraqi general election, which is a higher percentage than have turned out in
any US presidential election in history.

I like the term "Innocent puppy".
Truth is out, he licked one too many faces, that puppy was a criminal!

And you expect them to say otherwise? But yes they should have been labled POWs and treated according to those rules. Don't swallow their story so easy though. I would imagine the northern alience knew a good deal about who was driving them out of the country. And the majority WERE taken in battle when they still had expectations of winning and WEREN'T hiding among the populace.

You, of all people, call someone arrogant. I remember a time when you compared a dead friend of mine to a Nazi. Freshly dead. With any luck they wont have to worry about US Nazis much longer and can deal with Iran arming Sheites, Saudis arming Sunnis, and Al Queda doing what they do best all on thier own. I truely hope they can pull it off and pull it together.

I can say with certainty that I would kill a person before I killed a puppy. People have the potential for evil, case and point this guy, or if you prefer, my own assertion that I would kill a person before a puppy.
I'm not so sure of evil in animals.
Perhaps the way chimpanzees kill monkeys, or eachother, with no apparent legitimate reason, or elephants kill people and destroy property in apparent "revenge" for habitat encroachment. Evil might be a side effect of intelligence, or a door that intelligence gives you the key for. Something to think about, anyway, but at the end of the day I would still kill a person before an animal. I think people as a general whole probably "deserve" to die more often.

Hell, it's about time.
So far the thread was pretty uninteresting.

Doesn't matter whether you think he is arrogant, he is correct.
Besides (and I don't remember this incident) just because your friend was "freshly" dead doesn't make him not a Nazi, does it? I don't know the facts about that issue but you're presentation here is irrelevant and unclear.

This is why we have courts, to prove guilt. The idea that
every single person arrested and thrown in Gitmo was completely guilty is downright ridiculous.

So, you don't refute his point, and go off on a random tangent.

there are too many dumbasses who just want to throw dirt on the US.
Face it, US troops are there too long already to be seen as mere 'liberators' (uninvited in the first place) even by the simplest of Iraqis. After certain time the liberating force turns into occupying force in the eyes of natives, no matter what security & democracy reasons is the occupying force using as an excuse. But this may be hard to explain to some people living in superpower, which has never been subject of military occupation.
