This is something because it's something different. A new demonstration of the lows people go to. We could of course just have video of all the horrors and then become desensitised to the lot of it. If you've been on this forum for any length of time you'll know my opinion on bleeding heart animal sympathisers but even for me this is just :nono: Perhaps it's because I think the current Afghan and Iraqi conflicts are wrong anyway, but meh - more army idiots - would've thought?

I think people take exception to the puppy BECAUSE the puppy was not trying to kill them.
Although I do understand it is A ok to kill Americans in your country who try to prop up a useless democracy because all you want to do is set up a theocratic dictatorship and they are in the way of killing the other slightly different sects of the same religion.
