Okay... this is... different. I stress on that partial support as they haven't come out & officially said it yet.

(but it is currently on sale right now for anyone is is interested). But I was greeted with a new update when I logged on to steam today. Seems they added (

Taking one look at the workshop gives a list of some interesting hacks... Super Donkey Kong '99, Kirby Superstar (Kirby in Sonic the Hedgehog), & Super Mario World 64 are just to name a small few. Seems the (
http://steamcommunity.com/app/34270/workshop/) workshop just exploded with a lot of them. Obviously, some of these are not legal... obviously. But the fact that Sega was the one that opened the proverbial floodgates just floors me entirely. Holy sh*t.

If they start officially supporting English translation hacks, then that would be awesome.

Woah, when did they give it a full 3D makeover? Last time I booted up the Mega Drive stuff on Steam it was just a tiny window where I could flick through different games. There seem to be more games now, too.

You know Abysmal... I was thinking the same damn thing. :cheeky: Come on Atari Vault devs, get off your collective butts & get to work.
But my initial reaction was extremely slow at first. I viewed the news about workshop support & was thinking "hmmm, that's interesting... another steam release gets mod support... cool beans." I just didn't give the repercussions of such a move enough time to sink in fully. But when I opened the workshop & saw what was available... it hit me like a ton of bricks. Damn smooth move Sega, damn smooth. This is as close as we're ever going to get to hacks being accepted.
