I'm thrilled to report that today at the theatre where I work our long awaited cast list for Euripides "The Trojan Women" was finally posted.
I and a female classmate of mine will co-star with Sir Ian McKellan, Vanessa Redgrave, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham-Carter, Tom Cruise, Iman and Conan O' Brien. It's being directed by Lars von Trier, with scenic design by Julie Taymor, costumes by Versace and music by David Bowie and Phillip Glass.
I can't wait to begin rehearsals!

If this is another late-entry April fool I swear I will hunt you down and string you up.

It'd be worse if his name being on the cast list was an April Fool and he doesn't realize it.

Fafhrd,
Lest you continue scoffing, for your information here are some artistic facts you should know about Cleveland Ohio:
-Paul fuckin' Newman, Cool Hand Luke himself, is from there.
-We have the second largest theatre district in the United States (Broadway being number 1)
-We have the oldest resident theatre in America and also the oldest resident acting company in The Cleveland Playhouse.
-We also have the nation's first and oldest African American theatre: Karamu House.
-We had the largest Performance Art festival in the country for twelve years.
-Tom Hanks got his start at Great Lakes Shakespeare Festival (where I used to work) which was founded by John Lithgow's father.
Now then, all of that is irrelevant because I no longer reside there. I now live in Alabama. I'm a company member at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival which is the fifth largest Shakespeare festival in the world.
The cast list is real. I'll even take a picture of it if you wise asses don't believe me.
You're all just jealous. I'm gonna be rich and famous now and you wish you were me.
