hrm.. this is very odd, usally when im about to lvl i'll work a skill or two a lot to get a X5 multiplier on it, i.e. for speed id work shortblade and unarmoed. Since they're misc skills for me i can get tons of lvls on them that add to the multiplier without worrying about actually lvling. Its always worked fine, usally i only have to gain about 10-15 or so skill lvls. Untill i tried to get a X5 multiplier on INT. i have conjuration and security as misc skillis but i havent found a single conjuration spell yet so that just left me with security. i check where im at ATM on multipliers by lvling then camping, X3, ok cool (been working alchamy which is a minor skill) i goto a trainer and work it from lvl 5 to lvl 18, then get lvl and check.. still X3, odd. ok lets train to lvl 25.... lvl.. camp... still X3... wtf? train to 30! ... still a X3 multiplier! didn't even move to 4 after 25 skill point advances, i ran outa cash at this point so i sold my junk just to test it out and got it to 36.. STILL A X3 MULTIPLIER!
wtf? is security mislabled and not really an int based skill? all other misc skills ive had have raised their primary atribute (used acrobatics a lot to raise str) this is the first time it just hasn't work, it should have at LEAST gone to X4 or something, is it mislabled or just doesn't add to the attribute for some reason? now i dont really know how to get my skill up i cant keep working alchamy because one more lvl of major or minor skills will lvl me, im stuck =P conjurations my only other option but i havent found any conj spells yet, anyone got any advice on what i can try?

Training misc skills doesn't increase attribute multipliers, you'll have to practice!
I suggest you practice conjuration as you've mentioned that it's a misc skill for you. You can buy conjuration spells in the mages guild in balmora. Then make a spell via spellmaking which has a duration of zero and thus casting costs of 1. Note that conjuration spells with casting costs of 1 and which "bound" armor or weapons are heavily bugged. So buy a summoning spell.
Practicing misc skills above 40 is really time consuming and utterly boring though! I did so in the beginning, to receive 3 5x multipliers. I actually planned my character in a way that I even made important skills misc skills. It turned out to be no fun.

awww CRAP! ive wasted cash in the past bringing them up a bit before i actually practiced. You positive that training them doesn't increase the skill? How about for major and minor ones?

Training major and minor skills does. This adds to the "10 skills increases before leveling", though. So only PRACTICING misc skills allows 5/5/5

Just go to the mages guild and you'll see yourself. And yes, raising int doesn't rock for me too. Wish I had security as a minor.
