No, not the one you (probably) think of... I knew about the sunk boat near Filben.
I started a new game yesterday and just after you arrive near the NSF, that is, when you kind of enter their sector, you get that email from Jacobson reminding you the porinciples of "How to be a good agent", hide, etc...
I was playing on Realistic so I decided to be cautious and I went to the left to hide. Just as I was waiting for the NSF (I wanted to prod him) I heard bips and clicks. I found out there's a cache in this little construction, filled with about four to five medical 'bots. You need a couple of lockpick to open the door (you can recognize it, it has a Unatco seal), and then you just have to go there to heal...
I took screenshots, but I forgot to bring them at Uni, so I can't show exactly where it is, sorry. It's that place on the left of the little statue/pillar just after you leave Paul.
I ran a search and found nothing about it... Sorry if it's old news :)

Yarrr .. i think i remember reading about this here a while ago, or it may have been a walkthrough somewhere. I usually just blow the door open with a TNT crate, the same way i open the hatch on the sunken boat. TNT solves all of the world's problems.

You missed the second crate full of medbots!
At the rear of the island, where the two NSF guys are talking about Gunther, are a bunch of big crates. In one of them is a door and the medbots are in there.

As Azal said, you missed the second cache of medbots. The only way you can restore your lost honor is gutting yourself with a dragon's tooth.

When you said secret on liberty isle i got pretty excited. But as is inevitable with all veterans of a game it turned out to be old news. However if its been 3 years since original release and people are still finding "secrets" you KNOW its a good game. I'm so glad people are still playing it, and enjoying it. My spring Break starts in 4 days so i might give Dx another go. Realistic Difficulty of course. I might go ALL melee weapons, and grenades. Yeah that sounds good.
In anycase keep up the good work. If someone DOES find a secret I will be a happy man.

There are 2 or three major secrets usually not found on Liberty Island.
They involve getting over the wall of the compound when you return to liberty island.
(Grenade climb onto the Unatco building, then run and jump from the roof)
Once loose in the island, grenade climb up onto lady liberty, you'll find 2 Lam's and a gas drum.
Next you need to get higher, (grenade climbing won't work perhaps some other climbing technique) up to where the three NSF soldiers stand, just below the commander.
Try to get up to where you met the commander and you'll find a gas grenade.
Next time you return to the island there is a crate with a lock pick in it on the second level of the statue.
I can't remember any more at the moment.

This isn't exactly a secret, but a few times in Liberty Islands I've experienced a wierd bug that lets me 'replay' the level.
After I've finished everything, captured the NSF leader and gone to HQ, if I leave before I've spoken to everyone and gone everywhere I'm supposed to, then go back to the dock, I will meet Paul again and he gives me the talk from the very start of the game.
After that, all the NSF guys are alive again and I can redo the level. All the crates and items lying around don't get respawned though.
I've tried to work out how to do this on purpose, but no luck so far.
I think it has to do with where Paul is located. When you finished with the island, he meets you at the front doors of HQ. Later he is in Manderley's office. There must be a point somewhere while you're running around HQ that he is no longer outside and not yet in the office. At this point, it seems he defaults back to the docks.
If you can pick that moment when he is neither here nor there and return to the docks, you get to replay the level.

Thats really cool Azal. I've never gotten that to work for me though (never tried either). But its interesting nonetheless. Perhaps i'll try that in my next play through. Yeah i've seen those crates on liberty I've never found the rewards worth it though. I wish they had aug upgrades or something. with the difficulty required to get them, (especially the last one) it would be worth it.

I knew that.

I find two things about this game completely amazing:
1) The actual game is one of few good shooters that I know of that use grenades (most other shooters that use grenades don't get away with it so well).
2) Because the game was more popular than expected, the creators REWARDED their fans (so very rare), and not only created a multiplayer GOTY edition, but also released a MP patch for anyone whose already played.
These people deserve to be making games, and should most deefinitely continue doing so.
Oh, and more kudos. A quote from some random gamestore cleark:
"It's going to be hard to find a copy of Deus Ex. The game has sort of a cult following."
