Trust me, enemies definitely react to low light. If you're still, and hiding in a very dark area, you probably won't be spotted. This engine's still an unholy sibling of the Dark engine. ;)

I never stayed close enough to live hybrids to figure that one out. I always either was in a different room reloading or killing them...or trudging back from the QBRM...

You have done nice work, TF!:thumb::thumb:
I'm currently playing SShock 2 again with your mod on and it is so far been fun and bit
hard at same time. :)
However I do have noticed error in Gargo Bays.
I'm using Arcaniac's Redux-mod and other mods with your mod and for some reason Maintenance Bot at there won't shoot me at all. It's just keeps muttering to Xerxes and whenever I go close to it, it will just walk backwards as usually it will do.
If I take Redux-mod off then it will shoot correctly. So it's either bug in your mod or Arcaniac's version of Maintenance Bot model.
It has also misplaced selection box, too.

This engine IS the Dark Engine. The only difference between the TDP version and the SS2 version is a few compile-time switches.

And some scripts. Act/React things and the like.

I thought coloured lighting and unlimited 256 colour object palettes were the coolest things in SS2's version of Dark.

I didn't try that mod yet, it doesn't come with a gamesys that gets overwritten by my mod's does it?

Not unlimited, actually.

And TDP does support "txt16" object textures. It just didn't use them, to preserve compatibility with the software renderer.

Oh, I always encountered the object palette limit in Thief, and since SS2 seemed to have a palette for every texture, of which there are far more than 250 I assumed it had that limit removed, guess there is some palette sharing afterall.

No, it doesn't.

There seems to be a bug where the game consistently crashes without an error message when I enter the room on Deck 3 next to the chemical storeroom. To further clarify, the exact room with one oddly bugged monkey who is seemingly stuck in the ground and doesn't move or animate at all. There is also a security camera in the room, and a few footlockers, and some green water I think.
My guess is that seeing the monkey causes the crash, since I only got him on screen the first time, and every other try after that, it crashes before I spot him. Can anyone confirm this?
