That's an unusual spot for those nanites. Try to click around that inventory anyway, maybe there's a problem with the ninja star's inventory icon. Otherwise doublecheck that you have the Cyber Assimilation trait.

Right, mis-naming. Fixed, gamesys patch in first post updated.

Brain: The bug you noticed with the Maintinance bot not shooting is a bug from my mod, Brain... I haven't squashed it yet. ((yes, I realize that post is ages old, but I am new to the thread, been away on a World of Warcraft binge for a loooonng time))
TF: Looks like some grade A quality work here (haven't played it yet, but thats because I've been busy). I'm about to go back to work on my model pack - the non-GerMany version +grin+ since I've gotten all my hoo-has I'm going to get from the GerMany silliness... anyway, I'd like to make it work with your mod - but I need to know what the new meshes you included are used for so I don't inadvertantly muck something up. Also, since you are replacing all the maps anyway, there are a lot of things I'd like to do that I couldn't without playing with the maps and GameSys... if you'd be interested in working together on it and combining the two mods at some point, send me a PM and I'll tell you more (basically it involves changing the models the ghosts on each deck use to match up better to new models I'm making)

I didn't include new meshes from any mod project so far. Practically it's only recommended for use with SHTUP.
So far I have shotgun hybrid meshes which have had their texture altered to have transparency over their weapon area, used in making their shotguns dissapear off their body when their inventory shotgun is picked up. Though that one's seriously bugged right now and probably won't be fixed too soon, it's been disabled in the patch.
The hybrid/midwife/monkey gibs are made for SS2's original models, so they won't look right if custom models are being gibbed.
As for that merging mods together stuff, you're free to modify my mod and re-release it, once it's completely and finally debugged and released.

ok... so what are Grunt_l and Grunt_x used for respectively? And what ai mesh does the hybrid with the crystal shard use (I'm not into the game far enough to see one and guess at the file just yet)? Those are my main questions at this point.

The crystal shard hybrid is using grunt_l, as is the shotgun hybrid when his shotgun dissapears. Grunt_x seems to be a copy of grunt_l, probably made it easier for me in Dromed at some point.

This is something that never made sense to me. The function of Cyber Assimilation is to allow you to integrate machine parts into your own body... so why would I need that skill to pick the throwing stars out of a dead cyborg assassin's backpack?
Also, does the Strength attribute affect how fast or damaging the stars are?
