I would like to beta test your mission. Is it for Thief 1.28 or an earlier version, or is it for Thief 1?

Ok I'll have to make a 1.28 installation as I didn't want to change my 1.27 installation until my mission was completed. :)

I wanted to post this here just in case any more new authors find this thread. Maybe I should make a new thread, but I'll post it here anyway.
Whenever people offer to beta test a mission, it's generally accepted to allow testers time to actually download the beta and go through it & make notes of issues that if addressed, could make the mission better. Posting the link to the beta one day and ending beta testing the next day isn't really enough time. Remember that beta testers are not in your time zone or your part of the world, so it would be considerate to allow enough time for testers to get to testing and post notes/screen shots. Also remember that testers are not on your time and will have to work testing into their own schedules. If a tester seems to be unresponsive after a reasonable amount of time/days then consider that tester to be gone & not testing.
This has happened to me more than one time so I figured a post was necessary, and everyone knows that we as authors do appreciate beta testers and players, and as players we appreciate the efforts & months authors put into their missions.
All I ask is to not be in such a hurry to release a mission and give testers time to test. One day of testing is too short.

Thanks you for the heads up, but I feel like to add to it. Of course i take full responsibility for this. The mission has been in testing for a week now (and the mission has been in the making for almost a year), I posted the request both on the dromed discord and on the forum a day later, but testing essentially started the same day as the thread was posted on the forum, since I gathered enough people. Again it's my fault for this inconvenience and I take full responsibility, this was the first time i organized a beta test and also my fault for not checking the forums often. This has been a valuable lesson as an author
