I must be the only one who says "Aww man..." when there's only a "search me through google" on a site. Yes, google is the best for searching the internet, thats what its designed for. But I find it inferior to custom search engines fit for the purpose.

Yes, we could add a "Search this site with Google" form to the forums, but:
1) Where would we put it? (withough throwing the balance of the universe into upheaval, that is)
2) Everybody knows and uses Google already and most likely has a quicklaunch link to it on their browser, or the Google toolbar (and if they don't they should)
3) ...
4) Profit!
So, yeah... plus we already have a search, that for 95% of general uses here, it works pretty well (good enough for government work anyway) ;)

You're trying to hint that I should go stealing underpants again, aren't you? WELL I WON'T. The policeman said I would go to JALE.

THAT was my destiny.
It wasn't my fault.
It was INEVITABLE.

FYI, this bug has now been fixed :)

Any chance of getting hold of the search code + regexps + stripslash + escape functions? :p
David on 6/7/2004 at 20:25
In each of the PHP files is a section saying "This file may not be redistributed in whole or significant part."
Unfortunatley (for you ;) ) the search code is a significant part of the search file :p
SubJeff on 6/7/2004 at 20:59
It's not the search code I want though, just the search string filters for malicious code, ie SQL and HTML injections.
How else will I ever hack ttlg and set up donkey pr0n avatars?
