You get the program, with no mention at all of free trials, 30 days or any of the that stuff. I'm not really sure how you could have gone anywhere else, to be honest. Unless you have anarchic hand syndrome.

I tried downloading it twice. Clicking the .exe goes to a black screen that I can't Esc, or Ctl+Alt+Del, or use the windows button to get out of. Had to push the power button off. Just before it goes to blackscreen, I think I briefly saw a line about a missing restore.sc1. Too bad, I wanted to try it.

That must be some kind of country of origin effect, cos I honestly cannot get anywhere but the forum with the free download link by clicking 'download' in the page I originally linked to. Could you post a link to the 30 day trial page? I wanna see what it is.

The Download page I end up at when I use the DL button on the left takes me to a TRIAL DL that is valid for only 30 days. I'll check the other links and see where that gets me.
But the first DL link on the page that is linked in the initial post takes me to a restricted 30 day trial app.

Thread necromancy so I can brag necromancy.
So I've played with Sculptris a bit. It's a damn good little program. Easy to use, does what I want it to do, good stuff. Only problem I have with it is the constant crashing, and the big performance degradations when you get into highish polycounts. Considering this is the first time I've ever honestly tried real organic sculpting, I'm rather impressed with the results. As much as I've dreaded getting into sculpting, it actually ended up not being all that difficult.
