Hey, dunno if this should go in one of the gaming forums or what, but this is neat:

It's a mud-box type sculpting app (watch the trailer). Assuming a view arbitrary axes of symmetry, you can very rapidly produce complex, organic looking shapes with ease, and a bit of practice I imagine things like faces would be easy with it as well. Exports .obj, so you can get stuff out of it and into blender or your pirated Maya or whatever. Could be very useful for mods etc.

Does it allow you to play tetris while sculpting?

Awesome. I thought this must be the FreeSoftware undercut for ZBrush (a la Gimp and Blender) but ZBrush people made it. Bizarre.

Looks like a solid package at first glance, pretty impressive work for a one man, six months development.

It's not free. It's a 30 day free demo. Not that I really give a rats butt, but if you say free it should be completely free and not a demo or intro.
The Download page I end up at when I use the DL button on the left takes me to a TRIAL DL that is valid for only 30 days. I'll check the other links and see where that gets me.
But the first DL link on the page that is linked in the initial post takes me to a restricted 30 day trial app.

Where'd you get that idea? It isn't even final code. Right now, it's just an alpha some guy threw together in a few months. Even if Pixologic does intend on charging for it eventually, there aren't any indicators showing you're playing with a time limited demo. Maybe you're confusing this for Zbrush, though I have no idea how anyone could make that mistake.
Anyway, I finally found something to complain about. Sculptingwise, it's about the easiest to use program I've ever run across. Thing is, unlike most of the pro modelers, it gets unbearably slow once I get around 60,000 tris. For a high res modeler, that's about inexcusable. I can push Zbrush up to 700,000 polys before it starts getting the slightest bit choppy.
Granted, it's alpha, and I'm sure all that on the fly retopology probably comes at a cost, but still...I wanted to finish my damn fish.

Hey it's Love. Cool.
Can that do High Poly stuff or what?
