Okay, I know there are a lot of discussions about scripting and all, but I wanted to know from my beloved fellow taffers if:
a) they have ever made a custom NPC script? by that I mean have they ever made a MOD and created a totally new script from scratch?
b) if so, what unusual twist (or whatever) did you put into the script? you know, like if you ask them about "quiddich" they freak out and try to slay you, or someone offers to sell you hot dogs, or whatever.
c) What is the most complex MOD you have ever CREATED? (please stick to actually creating it, not modifying or downloading)
d) what is the most unusual/odd/unique MOD you have ever seen? (this includes self-made and down-loaded ones)
Thanks boyz 'n' grrrlz! hope to hear from you soon!:thumb:

*chuckle* Okay, I'll bite... I've created a couple mods; one to patch a few bugs, and the other simply as a way of getting decent starting eq and transportation to th more remote portions of Vvardenfell.
The most complex thing I did with an NPC? It wasn't a script so much as a bastardized creature; if memory serves, I combined a Dunmer model with a Steam Centurion animation and ended up with a disembodied Dunmer head that flops along at waist height (I could be wrong on the details, but it was something like that). Downside of him is that if I save a game in the 'cell' he's in, it crashes when I try to load it.
I haven't used many MODs; that's Kilana's bailiwick ;)

I'm afraid you won't find many modders here in ttlg... the official forums are alot more active with modders that make very complicated scripts and mods... mcmornan, vincent, caladon, etc...
I can only think of 3 people on these forums that would know alot about the editor or scripting... Kathode, Striker, and Forsythe.
I myself know nothing about scripting, coding, or anything else that has to do with computer programming/editing stuff. But I do know enough about the editor and console to fix small things, or look up things, but thats it.

Ack!
Thanks guys for the reply. I kinda figured this was a "outta-the-box" kinda crowd. Only problem I have right now is that, for some odd reason, my computer will not allow me to go from TTLG to the official websites (and vice-versa) without me closing out my browser and then restarting it again...otherwise it locks up. Strange, huh?
Or maybe....
it's a vast left-wing/right-wing/underground conspiricy! a plot hatched by communist anarchists in an effort to prevent me from finding out the truth! yeah! and..and...and..uh...they want to keep the...uh...secret...uh...SECRET! yeah! that's it!...
or maybe my browser sucks......Nah! that's not likely!:erg:

*grin* So beat 'em at their own game; use one browser to go to ttlg and another (Netscape, Opera, Mozilla, whatever) to go to the other one ;)
